MWS' Annual Shareholder Meeting
Meeting will be held on Wednesday October 14th, 2026, 6 - 7PM at the Meadowmeer Golf Club.
The meeting will review the current status of our community water system’s business and water operations, as well as planning for the future and Board member nominations/elections. A meeting package with the agenda and a proxy voting form was mailed to Shareholders.
Fire Hydrant Maintenance
Meadowmeer Water Service is performing system-wide fire hydrant maintenance over the next weeks. OG Landscaping will be painting fire hydrants in early October. Then in mid-October Northwest Water Systems will be flushing hydrants and testing valves throughout the water system. Properly functioning hydrants that are easily located by BIFD is a critical safety issue. If you have any concerns about the work being done around hydrants please contact MWS directly at stewart@mwsawater.org.
Corrosion Control Treatment
MWS has recently received approval from the WA Department of Health for our upgraded Corrosion Control Treatment system to address lead and copper corrosion from water pipes in our customer's homes. We are developing plans for capital improvements that will ensure MWS can dependably deliver water that is safe, available, and cost effective into the future. More details at the Annual Meeting.

MWS’ water is tested regularly and conforms to all federal and state mandated water quality requirements.
Lead levels in certain MWS’ customer’s tap water exceeded EPA guidelines levels in 2023. In 2026 MWS updated our corrosion control system to address this issue.

If you have billing questions, or problems paying your bill, please contact NWS billing department to discuss possible resolutions.

Contact NWS’ repair department to report the problem.
If needed, turn off the water at the water meter.
If the leak is on MWS’ side of the meter we will resolved the problems. If the leak is on the customer side of the meter you will need to contact a licensed plumber.
